 Dear Families We are learning about the sacrament of Baptism in Room 7.  This week, Friday's poem is actually a scripture reading. Please share it with your lovely learner. We are all part of God's family. We are all on a faith journey. Please talk about this at home. Your child might also be interested in the old writing. Can they still spy some letters that they know? Try finding this piece of scripture in your family bible.

  Dear Families This week in Room 7, we will be enjoying The Gruffalo . If you have this story at home, do find it and enjoy this amazing picture book at home as well.    The Gruffalo  contains wonderful language that helps to expand our vocabulary and understanding about the world around us. For example, you wil find the word frightfully in this story.  We are learning about how we could use the word ' frightfully ' in a sentence. Can you make up a sentence using this word with your learner? Parents, I am giving out participation footsteps to your children if you can leave your sentence in the comment box below. 

 Dear Families As I am sure you are aware, the older children in the school are treating us to a special production later in this term (The juniors have something special to participate in next term 😀 ).  The production is based on the story of Jonah and the Whale. Please enjoy this short video with your wonderful learner at home. You might want to find the story in your family Bible as well. :)

 Welcome Noah! Today Noah started school in Room 7. The day was filled with lots of different activities..starting with creating a supermarket out of lego. Way to go Noah!
